How ranking works
Results first check whether a caterer can do the job: whether it serves your location for the service style you chose, offers that style, can handle your guest count and confirms your required dietary needs. Among those, ranking considers how well the profile fits your preferences, distance, profile completeness, how recently details were confirmed, and whether the business is verified.
Payment never changes organic ranking
Paid plans do not change the organic order. Caterers that have not confirmed a requirement appear in a separate "May be able to help: confirm directly" group, never as confirmed matches.
Featured placements
Featured is paid advertising. Up to three Featured cards may appear above results, always labeled "Featured", and only for caterers that qualify for that exact search. When more qualify, they rotate fairly.
Verification is not for sale
"Business Verified" is earned through ownership verification and cannot be purchased.
